Hi Fishes, Need your prompt opinion. Currently, I am working in TCS and I have offer from CTS. Now, TCS trying to retain me with similar hike offered by CTS. Is it better to stay back in TCS or move forward with CTS. I have completed 7.5 years in TCS & my total year of experience is 9. Please suggest. Thank you!

Get that offer then switch. But if offer is in wings don't fall in the trap.

Is it wings2 incentive?if so then ignore. Don't join cts try other. With 9 years 12 is very less. You shoukd get at least 20

What's the offer ?

I hope your notice period is 3 months. You will get more offers in the last 45 days. You will definitely get offers better than this. Don't take back your paper. Keep trying. In case if you want to stay back , you can withdraw your resignation in the last moment.

I am 5th year SM and hope to be a partner by next year or so. In my early 40s with young kids.. so thinking about my next move and WLB. I am being approached by Recruiters from large tech companies with VP level role with a total comp of $500k or more. I am double minded now if I should stick to my PPMD track or make a switch now. Money is definitely important ... so wanted to ask your opinion if sticking with PPMD track will be more lucrative in long run. Thanks.

I tackle content strategy/copy for a small B2B company, and our marketing team is currently two people. I’m struggling with seeing so many opportunities for improvement and not knowing how to prioritize or set up new initiatives. Does anyone have tips for learning how to think through new projects like that? For example, we don’t have an SEO keyword strategy, but building out the framework and monitoring results feels so daunting and right now there’s no one on the team who could help me. TIA!

Recruiters, is it a red flag if a potential candidate’s previous job experience is as follows: Job 1: 1.5 years Job 2: 2.5 years Job 3: 2.5 years

Last year, My girlfriend was making 80k while I was making 200k so I took her out to dinners and took care of the groceries etc. Basically made sure it’s an equitable relationship. She got a new job this year and is now making 210k (more than me) but still expects me to pay for all the dinners and groceries. I’ve already talked to her about this but just resulted in argument. Is there any coming back from this situation to make this equitable relationship or is break up the only option here?
