What's the skillset used for a consultants role?

Thomson Reuters is a good company for pay hikes for sure what I have heard. But for your carrier goal, I will opt EY

I agree - Reuters is definitely a great name, but EY gives you way more opportunities down the line

EY or Reuters are your best options if you're seeking further opportunities and pay hikes.

Unless you have a super competing skills to project your work. Thomson Reuters would be a best choice

You CAN be that leader that people want to work with. 1st, self assessment is required. Be honest: As a leader, have you engaged in/accepted Attribution Bias with a dash of gender &/or race bias? (See the pic) This is something we all need to be aware of as we lead our teams, provide performance feedback, & model the behaviors we'd like to see more of on our teams. Be on the lookout for Attribution Bias in yourself & on your team. It's a hindrance to creating a high-performing, inclusive culture.

Have any firms begun allowing permanent remote work since the pandemic? My firm has historically been proud of its office-based culture but I’ve been pushing for WFH and would love to hear of some examples. Mostly so I can move to a LCOL area closer to family while still keeping my job that I enjoy.

Hey all - I currently work as PM at a NY agency. However, I went to school in Boston and my partner is from the North Shore. We’re thinking about making the move back to Boston early next year. Does anyone have an insight into the ad industry in Boston? What’s it like? Are agencies hiring? How’s the culture? If anyone has worked in NY as well I’d love to hear about how the two cities are different from an ad industry perspective.

I got an offer in public accounting (advisory) making 31% more plus a bonus but I like the WLB my current job offers. However, i haven’t gotten a raise in 2 years (due to going to 2 new positions & being told I can’t negotiate more, basically take it or leave it). How do I ask for a raise at my current role (which is a large NFP) by leveraging my current offer? Should I? Family/ friends are saying I should. I have my CPA and started here 6 months ago.
