Been working as a contractor as IS and planning consultant for about 1 year and the year before was a intern. I have experience with most software like PPM,ACA,Confluence,JIRA,BoIT,Oraclereqs,etc. I finally asked for a raise and my manager’s boss (CAO) wants me to become a PM. I haven’t got an offer yet but what should I shoot for?
Currently studying Supply Chain Management and only hold an A.S education but have half an A.S business degree. Thank you!

I posted before but basically my company screwed me out of a promotion but they are saying they would consider me for a management position still ( but of a less respected area). I have no mgr experience on my resume. Would it still be wise to take this job and then go elsewhere in a year or 2? How do I ask my manager for a promotion?

I’m a non-traditional attorney (worked a few years before law school and barred a few years after by choice). I ended up getting a job at a boutique firm and in my first year I was given very little guidance and definitely wasn’t perfect but I worked hard (billed approx. 2,000 hrs exceeding firm minimum by 10%) One almost major screw up but otherwise OK. I was given a small raise and a $1k bonus. Other assoc. is sr. but got $20k. Also making $75k less. Not sure what to think. Any advice?

Hello. I am a Sr. Systems (Management) Analyst (equivalent to a Sr. Software Engineer), promoted to this position in 2019, from a Software Engineer position.
