[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?
I have no problem lying to get what I want

PF increase is not a bad idea though.
Right now many companies are making basic as 40% of base pay. Thus the PF will get reduced as well. I think making basic as 50% as basic would be better so that we get better PF component as well. Obviously take home will be slightly reduced, but there should be retirals too right.
PF 1800 would give better hand in salary but it is bad for high salary or senior employees as it results more tax and less retirals
Certain firms pay the minimum amount as PF too. 1800 by employer and 1800 by employee in each month.
12 weeks off kya h ye?

Yeah the cap on PF is 1800, no matter what percentage of your salary is basic. If companies decide to have this minimum amount as PF contribution in your salary structure. There isn't much you can do about it.
It has been applied for me..except leave part :)
Yea it might come into effect
Hmm I'm not sure. Do you have the link to the actual article? That would be really helpful.
