EY Parthenon seeing senior-level exodus?
I work in the corporate strategy department of one of Australia’s major companies. We’re all former consultants with highly ranked international MBAs (e.g. HBS, Wharton, INSEAD, LBS, etc.). If you are 100% set to stay in Australia for your MBA, I would shoot for an MBA program on the global rankings like Melbourne Business School. The fact that University of Western Sydney’s MBA website doesn’t have any company logos or a link to an employment report is worrisome in terms of ROI.
Agree with this one. MBA is as good as its brand and reputation. Only go for big names. Consulting especially top tier will only consider top global programs as indicated above: Harvad, Stanford, INSEAD etc and top local: Melbourne Business School, USyd and UNSW.
I haven’t completed a MBA, but if I was going to invest the time and money, it would be from a Harvard/ Stanford/ INSEAD/ Oxford/ etc. For a lot of people, the alumni network and prestige of the name is more valuable than the pure course content. It depends what is more important to you, but good luck either way 🍀
Depends a lot on your background and ambitions. What do you think it adds? Have you tried to get into the bigger Aus names?
