Any thoughts about the role and work load ?

I work in clinical research and I’m under consideration to work for another research facility; however I hesitate because it’s a consulting position that can turn to permanent. It’s a huge pay increase (8-10 more) with benefits, PTO, etc. Any thoughts about consulting or temp-to-permanent jobs?

Is it a good idea to go into SaaS pm role just for the sake of breaking into product management? Seems like b2c/consumer product management is the more popular one and is harder to get into from SaaS than the other way around. Friend of mine was supposed to receive an offer (told verbally) from Deloitte and then just found out they are pausing on hiring the role. How common is that? Seems wildly unprofessional that none of the partners called and instead it was the recruiter conveying that news. At McKinsey, if that happened, the head of the practice or the office would personally make the phone call at the very least.

Hello all! I was hoping for some new insight or ideas, so here we go! I am a RN by trade, 10 years. My current role now functions as a House Supervisor. It’s shift work, running the hospital. We support/troubleshoot all clinical, operational, and facility functions within the hospital. So basically, we wear a suit and are the physical reps of the C-suite. Besides healthcare, are their industries I could transfer these skills to without starting at ground level? Thanks!

Did anyone have Deloitte USI interview recently for M&A role for lateral placement proces for MBA batch of 2020? It's been 5 days and I haven't heard from them after final round (MD round).
