Hello fishes. What salary can I ask for HR . 8 Yrs exp . Cloud full stack role. ENY .BANGLORE location. Curent . 10.5 lpa.
Hi everyone! I have two offers (both just verbal so I don’t have total comp exactly yet), very different. I work in a specific vertical, and one is a product leader for a very cool and visionary start up in my space, and the other is a really interesting role for a venture firm specific to my industry - it’s mostly a writing and PR type of role - doing research and writing for the partners, doing public blogs and podcasts, ect. Comp will be higher but not meaningfully so at start up. Cont…

Hello everyone, I am currently applying for entry level marketing positions in Europe and UK. Can anyone please provide me a referral at Unilever?
My brother is looking for a UX Designer role in Ireland or remote. He has a Master's in Interaction and Experience Design from the University of Limerick and has done quite a few projects. He worked as an architect for 3 years before that with a strong focus on design using industry standard tools and software. Let me know if anyone has any leads. Thanks in advance. https://www.linkedin.com/in/arun-rajeev
I just finished final round interviews and the hiring manager reached out to connect again for 45 mins!! Can’t tell if it’s an offer or if I should prepare for another interview?!?
Can somebody please refer me to Salesforce solution architect position at Doordash. DoorDash
Best approach to boomerang? Looking to go back to ACN; been with Deloitte since Jan. Overall the culture isn’t a fit and think 6 months is a fair time to explore
I am finding my new school to positive learnin culture. It is such a releif from the negative culture of the last school I worked in.
Looking for advice here! I got referrals from the rooftop slushee app for several companies. I got my resume reviewed by two professional coaches and I hit all the qualifications for the role. But I keep getting rejects and my resume isn’t gettting picked up. Is it because of the competition? I’m at loss as to how to proceed! I’ve been on the job hunt for 4 months now with no end in sight! Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Which company would be better overall. CTS (Associate- Projects) , EY India (Consultant) (Considering work culture, growth, WLB)
Is there racism in EY & Deloitte against minorities? Any experiences? I’m thinking of leaving PwC strictly for this reason. Any suggestions where can I apply for a better culture?
Hi ladies, I need some advice on how to navigate/build a relationship with my fiance's family. Some of his siblings and family members are very standoffish and distant. For background, we are same race different culture. I'm very open and I've learned a lot from my fiance over the years. However, I believe his family still sees me as an outsider and they don't invite me to certain things. At times, it feels isolating and it makes me feel unwelcomed. They're also supposed to be in my wedding.
General question / opinion. How does the general industry view seniors that leave prior to making manager. Do hiring managers and recruiters view those individuals as people who couldn't "hack it" or
Which CPG company: - pays the most - has the best culture - promotes or value the most ex consultants - has the best name/reputation (The answer might very well be different for every single question but would love your thoughts)
Did I mess up my first round? Recruiter set up team match call. I haven’t had any other interviews. I didn’t have much in the description so focused my initial interest on program management (that was the title of the interviewer). Turns out role is more strat and ops. I have experience in both (more strat) but interviewer said to think on where I want to focus as he has openings for both types of roles. I’m worried I messed up because I said I wanted to do program management…
I want to exit to MBB but if that’s not a possibility what are the next best consulting firms? Looking for at least midsize firms (non-boutiques).
How does NYC/Boston PE placement from Tuck compare to Booth/Kellogg (w/ pre-mba PE exp.)? I plan to apply to all 3 but plan to live in NYC/Bos post-mba and, despite the rankings, would prefer to go to Tuck if I am lucky enough to get into 2-3 of these schools
If all the top consulting firms made anonymous decks or gave anonymous pitches to a client, eg no branding and the client did not know which firm made which deck, do you actually think that the client would prefer MBB? Is MBB actually coming up with better/more innovative solutions? I feel like I see many repeat or slightly altered solutions on almost all of my cases, are these really things that people at Deloitte/Accenture etc aren’t coming up with?
What are peoples’ views about being asked your current salary by a prospective employer you are in “talks” with about joining? For context, I’m 1.5 year qualified and London-based, lateraling to another UK HQ’d firm. HR asked me what I was currently on, I reluctantly answered as I didn’t want to come off as defensive, but want to know whether this is something we should be disclosing? (Also, newly qualified start salaries are publicly available online in the UK so not sure why she even asked 🤷🏻♀️)
Does anyone at Accenture have insight on if candidates that received verbal offers prior to Covid-19 will still get written offers within the coming months?
I have I have an in-person interview with EY next week, call with Bain recruiter tomorrow and call with KPMG recruiter end of the week. How do I handle if I get an offer but waiting for others?
Anyone know a good method of showing dollars saved by increasing (rail) fleet utilization?
Looking for a new watch AD in the Dallas area. I have a $20k purchase history from my usual AD, got a call for a RG Daytona on Oysterflex. I walk in, and there’s this kid with a 5711 on the wrist, with the entire sales staff huddled around him (no hate to him). He walks out with a little green Rolex bag and I find out that my Daytona was sold to him instead. My SA then tells me to buy a JLC Polaris in rose gold, saying (1) it’s a better watch and (2) if I buy it, I might get a WG in a few months
What’s the best way to find roles at start ups? I’ve been applying to my same type role and have been contacted for contract consulting work, but these roles only make 10 - 15% than what I make now. I want to go to industry and I’m really interested in tech roles, I just don’t know where to start.
Any recommendations for a hybrid robot vacuum in terms of price-performance Ratio or important buying criteria? WFH makes it necessary and I want to treat myself :). Key information: floor is parquet, so I guess it should have dry/wet/wiping functions, don’t have any pets, thought I want to spend 300€ max. but no clue if investing more is worth it. Highly appreciate any input :)!
What advice would you give your 25-year-old self?

Apparently more than a few of my firm's associates moved to other states during COVID and are now quitting because we are coming back to the office. The wierd thing is that my office is quickly replacing those associates with other associates that moved here (a large secondary market) during COVID and refuse to go back to their (mostly NYC-based) firms. Is this churn happening at other firms too?
Would being in the data science group/doing that type of work be a differentiator in a sea of other Caucasian male big 4 consultants?
Have a call tomorrow to discuss an offer for IP director of a series c startup. I was told early on by HR that the comp was 180 base + bonus and equity. Can anyone provide insight on what type of bonus and equity I should expect? I believe bonus should be provided as a target % of base, but I’m not well versed in equity. The company is a Bay Area ag tech company but my position is fully remote. I have 6.5 YOE (but 5 of those years were as a patent agent).
