I was given the location Mumbai in offer letter and my desired location is hyderabad. My doj is one week away and I got a call from an account manager recently and was told that the account operates from multiple locations and hyderabad is one among them. He told me that he would allocate me hyderabad location once I join as they do not have any location constraint. Is it possible to allocate the desired location like that even if there is a diff location in offer letter? Please help.

Im wondering if anyone knows what the “rules” are re: being contacted while out on leave. My VP has said she’ll be texting me if she needs anything, and while I don’t want to be unhelpful,I REALLY don’t want to think about work at all while I’m out. Are there any guidelines regarding what is and isn’t ok in this context? Im thinking if it gets to be too much I’ll be very slow to respond and train her to not expect to hear back quickly, and she can find answers for herself. Any insights?

I have a offer from Accenture, with 40% hike on ctc as fixed pay and 21% variable, im asking for 50% hike on fixed pay but they say with 1 yr exp it cannot be given how much variable is actually given in yr?

Do Accenture really have a proper recruitment process? had interview with Accenture yesterday. the person who interviewed me didn't ask for questions. No qsns frm basics r any process related, i have 5 years of exp in SAP SD, I am in to support and i clearly mentioned in my resume. that dumb keep on asking have I done any developments or any implementation experience.. i explained the tickets we get in our project he don't even care to listen to me. The call was completed in just 20 mins

I am from Mulesoft background with 12 yrs IT Experience and Got offers from Accenture and whishworks. Whishworks offer 2lacs more when compared with the fixed package. Designations are almost same(management level8) But Accenture provides 3lacs joining bonus and more variable pay(Accenture 27% whishworks 10%) which puts me in dilemma. I am looking job security and work life balance, which one do you suggest to choose??
