Current CTC : 21L fixed
Expected : 21-25L

Got fired from a toxic agency before I got the chance to quit. I got 1w of unemployment, love my new job and if there’s one lesson I learned- read company’s Glassdoor, there is a reason some get 2⭐️

If you get fired from big law, how likely is a firm to be vindictive re recommendations etc

So are the layoffs at Deloitte over ?

Just got benched, been completely billable till now, how long until I should be worried about potential layoffs? (Even though management is “committed” to not letting people go during covid)

Follow up post to my last post…My husband was laid off from the company where I also work. I am feeling really isolated / depressed about working and moving forward. I’m also getting to a stage where I’m really sad that people haven’t reached out to either my husband or myself to send well wishes or provide support. It’s like they don’t know what to say or I make them feel awkward so they don’t bother…I’m trying to focus on a few that have been supportive but it’s hard…Any words of advice? 😞

Interested to know others’ thoughts: would you consider the actuarial profession to be recession proof? Do you think there are some tracks that are more protected than others? 10 fixed + 1.8 variable + 1.25 joining bonus

And Cognizant ( Associate)
12.5 fixed + 50k variable + 2 joining bonus

Which one is best for growth

I'm picking the first one as Cognizant is giving me a lesser role. I think with my experience it should be Senior Associate.
