Is IT facing recession in India ??
How to save tax?
Hi folks, I have recently joined Publicis Sapient taking an offer of 14.4 LPA. I have total 4.5 years of experience and my previous CTC was around 3.4 LPA. I had various offers in hand but not one to counter this one and PS is providing me 4x+, so I couldn't negotiate much.
Another thing is I was an immediate joiner as I had left my previous organisation 3 months ago so I couldn't wait to think about this offer.
But now I think it's low, what do you think please let me know and suggest.
The recession seems scary!

I don't actually know what prior intimation means if you don't mind explaining more! If you got an offer, accepted it, and now want to back out sometimes the best way to go is the truth. I would imagine it's either a personal thing that's come up or a compensation issue. The worst is probably silence, but either way you wouldn't be invited back to the company so make sure you want to do it.
Meaning having other offers in hand, so declining the ones which are not interesting
That is always awkward. Can you be upfront and tell them you have had a better offer?
This helps I guess. Thank you
It's always good to inform the recruiter in advance so as to not burn the bridges for the future opportunities.
Indeed.Thank you.
