HI folks,
My current CTC is very low with respect to my YOE. CTC : 5.2 lpa
YoE : 4
Tech stack : Python , MLops
But now my manager has initiated H1B visa for me and the visa process is in progress.
Is it worth to wait till the H1B process completes to work in U.S (or) should i make a switch immediately. .

I am in a confusion,
I work for tcs and for retention, tcs is offering Canada onsite and they need 4 to 5 months to process the visa
I have 2 offers in hand one is CTS (16.3+ 70000) and HCL (19+3)
Hcl is pakka support project (operations) no chance of development. I am having 10 YOE and completely in development.
CTS not sure about project.
Fishes, can you please help me understand which is a better option that I have.

1st bullet applies to people whose h1b petitioners are college, hospital, charity, etc. that were not subject to the cap. They can still use PP. Your highlighted part includes scenarios like L1 or other non H1b cases. You don’t need to know about it. Basically, for H1B petitions, only extension files at Nebraska can do PP. All other H1B new application, transfer, extension will not have PP after 9/11 until feb 2019.
It’s only suspended for CAP FY19. If you are not in CAP then you can file in premium processing but your employer immigration team will make that decision. Good luck don’t worry
From Oct 1st, and want to change my employer. I am attending interviews and in the very initial stages of my job search. If I say get a job by the end of October, how.long would it take for an H1 transfer to go through w or w/o premium processing. I know it depends on the case, but approximate numbers from personal experience or from friends would help greatly! Thanks 2/2
USCIS has suspended premium processing till Feb 2019. Also, the rejection instances have increased.
Good luck with the hunt.
Isn't that suspended only for cap subject applications??
The suspension now expands to transfer as well after 9/11. Read the memo.
New Employers will be hesitant to transfer if they know that the timeline can stretch to months unless they really want you
Sorry if this is silly but can someone explain to me what the first point means?( From the latest memo). And what the highlighted last line in the screenshot means as well... Thanks.
Please find the link for the memo here - https://www.uscis.gov/news/uscis-extends-and-expands-suspension-premium-processing-h-1b-petitions-reduce-delays
Thank you! That makes it very clear.
