For example, I recently spent about an hour setting up rules in Outlook to auto-filter junk emails and non-urgent emails (client alerts, data room notifications, bar association emails, etc.) into a separate folder that I can check a couple times a day. Don’t know how I didn’t think to do this years ago, but that’s about 50 fewer distractions each day since I’m one of those people who checks every email notification.

I’ve been working as a mortgage professional for over 3 years now and have found it unfulfilling and draining, even with the industry where it’s currently at. Would returning to school to pursue an MBA or other masters degree afford me the opportunity to make a switch to PE? Have had a few friends in PE and some in consulting say the same. Housing/rent q— In a 3 bedroom with two roommates in Brooklyn and for 8 months of our lease we’ve dealt with mice issues. Our old managment company was so bad at responding to our requests/inefficient, so we took to buying traps ourselves. The problem would go away, and then we’d find another mouse. Managment recently changed in February and thy’ve been much more responsive but we’ve caught 10 mice at this point. Asked for one month of rent free, but LL only offered $500. Should we keep pushing?
