I’ve spent time googling but can’t seem to get a clear answer. Since March, I’ve been running 3x a week and weightlifting 3x a week. I’ve been eating at a calorie deficit and have lost about 15lbs. I am trying to both lose the last bit of fat and build muscle. Am I in a recomp or a cut? It seems some people say I can’t build muscle while eating in a deficit so I’m really just preserving muscle while cutting. But my lifts have increased and others say this a slow recomp and I am building muscle?

For those who have had narcissistic SOs, how did you realize it at the time? How did you decipher that the issues are less about your shortcomings and more about his mental block? Can a narc change?

We’ve been researching job prospects of both universities and he is trying to decide which school will offer the best job placement and opportunities (COA Is not a determining factor). Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks

I have an offer that I have signed. (background check and all other checks done) I am due to join in 2 months (after negotiating my start date which was accepted) Is there a possibility of Google rescinding my offer at any point for any reason?

AVOID AGODA AT ALL COSTS. First they only had interview times 7pm to 3am, none during working hours. Then come interview time, I wait 3+ minutes in no one shows up and then I get an automatic email saying the interview has been canceled. I also then get an auto email saying they moved on but the recruiter emails a few minutes later saying they are trying to reschedule. A waste of my time and money preparing, putting on makeup, outfit and contacts, and skipping dinner.

What do people think about side projects for PM applications? I love tweaking software to make cool one off things. Mostly focused on the ML/AI space (I also manage an ML product at work). Would sharing URLs or my GitHub actually help with my job apps? Assuming the side project is not revenue generating but is relevant to the position/company?
