Indications are given by leadership that they might come up with a model where the employees can choose the format - how much percentage of wfh/office work they are willing to do. No confirmations yet. Let's wait and watch.

I live alone and have loved the time not traveling but WFH has really started getting to me the past few weeks. On top of that, I got a series of bad news this week that really took a toll on my mental health (one has affected my ability to visit family), and I’ve never felt this alone in my life. I miss having an office to go to and see others in. Even started skipping workouts & cooking, both of which I love. Could use hugs and inspiration to get past this hump

My firm has had several positive covid cases (3 even in just the last week) but still requiring everyone to work in the office. There’s no wfh/telework option for employees except for those with underlying conditions or age 65+ & not everyone in the office follows covid guidelines. Feels a bit like being a sitting duck. Any advice on how to approach leadership about concerns as an associate?

I'm really struggling with focus & could use some coping tips, if anyone has some. I live alone & am hundreds of miles from my family. I've been in isolation for months (My firm is still doing 100% WFH). Everything feels so overwhelming and coping with being lonely and being sad is getting harder and harder. I'm coming up on a crazy Q4. I'm low on hours for the yr so I need to go all-in on work for the next 2 months, but I'm not sure how to make it happen. Any recommendations?

Looking for suggestions for house plants (two or three varieties) that look good, don’t attract insects and worms, hardy, and low maintenance (don’t need daily watering). Now that WFH is here for some part of 2021, I wanted to bring some plants to my home office. Pictures of your own home office plants are also much appreciated. TIA!

Interviewing for a role that will be 100% remote forever. Does anyone have any thoughts? I’m young 20s, no kids, living in a city, etc. I’ve enjoyed working from home because of COVID but I’m not sure about never going in/seeing team members again.

A big surprise challenge in wfh has been my spouse seeing me around the house and expecting me to help out with daily chores and helping with kids then getting frustrated when I’m not able to get up and help. Our whole marriage, when I’ve been home that means I’m not working and can help her out with things, but now that rhythm has changed and it’s hard. Anyone else going through this? Hoping we’re not the only ones 🤞🤞😬

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about my relationship and how I’m not really that happy. Boyfriend is always upset at me for various reasons and treats me like I’m a burden (like I don’t know how to do anything and he has to parent me). He doesn’t seem interested in marrying me, but we’ve been together a long time. I’m thinking if the best time to go our separate ways is when the lease comes up, but I wanted to hear other ladies opinions.

Throughout my career, I have worked at both “traditional” and “digital” shops. My current agency would fall under traditional but also offers digital services. Our process, roles and skillsets seem way outdated but I wasn’t sure if it was just my opinion or if this is just how it works. For example, we have no CTO or tech leads. Our digital producers feel more like project managers than actual producers. Account Management is just traditional, no real digital knowledge. Feels layered and dated.
