Bangalore rents are currently super crazy. You won't get a decent place close to office wherever it is
Traffic is bad in general
Connectivity isn't great. You'll need to catch autos and ubers everywhere
Weather is good but so is in pune.
Only thing is there are a lot of pubs and all if you're really interested. But pune has a good scene too.
You'll have a better quality of life and savings in pune. 100%.
Shifting for that difference isn't worth it
What about pg in Bangalore, are they also costly?
Choose peace over chaos, choose affordable over costly, choose manageable traffic over being stuck in traffic for hours, choose homelike good food over food that wont suit your taste buds, choose being smart on using money over being on spree to spend money, choose Pune💚 over Bengaluru.
Being said, no hatred towards the city just some practical facts.
Apologies if anyone was offended~
Pune sucks man people most overrated place in India
30lpa in Bangalore is less ask for 40 lpa
Companies are not offering that much for me.
If you are purely looking from salary perspective, then Pune is better option. IMO, you should look at other options such as which city has better and more opportunities in tech, where can you get more exposure, where can you learn more and have better possibility to change domain, where you have better option to fast track your career and salary growth etc. If you consider all these points, then Bangalore is better than Pune in all these aspects. Difference today might seem 27L vs 30L but Bangalore has potential to bring 30L to 50L and more in just couple of years because of demand of skillset and talent here. So think again and chose wisely.
better choose a company that allows you WFH
I am hardly getting call from the company which offers wfh.
Your YOE and domain?

It's same or even less for bangalore. Bangalore has higher inflation rate/higher rent when compare to pune.
I have lived in both cities. for 3 lakhs extra dont come to Bangalore it is a very expensive city and traffic situation is getting bad day by day. I personally would prefer 27 at pune than 30 at bangalore.
Btw which conpany offer 27 in pune
Emerson
Pune any day
From a monetary stand point, a 10-15% higher fixed salary in Bengaluru will give you the same lifestyle as in Pune. If you are deciding based on salary (assuming the salary figures mentioned is all fixed) you can choose either of the cities.
But, I think a lot of other factors should be considered as primary criteria for selection before even considering salary.
Pune is best at that package
Pune is best as you're already working there. Shifting banglore and adjusting with the higher rents will not give you much benefit of those 3 extra lakhs.
dont switch the city just for 3 lakhs. better to stay at Pune
Pune
I shifted to bangalore from Pune 20 days back with 8 lpa. I'd say go for Pune.
Pune
No if no but..go for Pune.
Blr is one crazy city with chaotic traffic and frenzy property rentals just bcz weather 'acha hai'.
What's your current CTC
22 to 27 or even 30 doesn't seem like a big/worth it jump.
If you are having problems at the office, then it might make sense.
