Article Alert: to help candidates study Amazon Interview questions that can ACTUALLY appear in an interview (as opposed to fakes), I've used open sources to compile a definitive and vetted collection. Here it is. Study well. https://www.dayone.careers/blog/amazon-interview-questions-vetted-by-day-one-careers
Hi guys I have an interview for L6 Technical account manager III for Amazon, the role only specifies that I need to have 4 years of experience using SQL which I do have limited experience with, I know the questions will be centered around the 14 leadership principles and my stories of my experience should include them. Does anyone have any examples of the stories they use in their Amazon interviews? I would like to make sure I’m using the proper examples? Amazon

How much does a DevOps Engineer I make?
You are not alone. Promotions are pathetic, even in some of the giant companies. That's why so many people go to another company for bigger pay rather than staying where they are.
Have you been getting annual hikes? If so, how much have those been?
Yehh defo low, I got 5% pay rise this year (no promotion). Although I hear progression is meant to be better now we’ve merged with S&P as they conduct promotions all year round rather than once a year.
But I know someone in another part of the firm who changed job within the company (was not promoted up a level) and got a 25% pay bump so mixed bag tbh
I have gotten bigger raises on an off promotion year than when I got a promotion. Seems backwards but don’t assume promotion means more money! This was standard for this year (even higher than some!)
I am not surprised. Raises and promotion increases have been TERRIBLE this year. You are not alone. Sorry to hear that but you can always ask for more and see what they say.
Unfortunately, I think this is going to be the norm across the industry. The economy is in the toilet and it doesn't look like that's going to change any time soon. Time to tighten the belt and start being frugal.
Hey! I just applied for a role at IHS Markit in Canada. Any recommendations on how I can try and connect with them to give myself a better chance at being interviewed?
