Hi folks - Because of COVID, Emirates (and I'm certain other airlines) are allowing you to keep the ticket and rebook within 24 months of date of the original booking. The fare amount paid for original booking will be accepted for any flight to the same destination/region at any time with no fees.

Hi, My joining is on 12th December. When can I expect Onboarding details mail and stuff?
I have been told that it arrives two days before joining.
I have to relocate to join and have been told by the team that travel desk will contact and arrange for that.
Kindly provide info on this.
Thanks in advance!

Many who repatriate are lured by a vibrant startup scene in India that is drawing unprecedented capital from venture and private equity firms and is buoyed by an effervescent market for stocks. But they are also disenchanted with what they perceive as America’s bleak and hopeless immigration landscape, where the wait times for green cards are tortuously long, and the limits on launching startups for newcomers are highly restrictive.

1. If the airline stops operations, you may lose the money.
2.Also, nothing stops them from modifying the rules later.
3. You may find a cheaper fare on another airline when you wish to travel. Since your money is stuck with Emirates, you’ll end up spending more.
Always better to get a cash refund unless you are ok with the risks.

Makes sense. All valid points. I'm concerned that when travel opens up, the mad rush to travel will cause ticket prices to go up. So locking in a good rate would be ideal from that sense.
