I've been interviewing for different roles and am struggling to figure out what comp to ask for. Currently making $100k plus a 10% bonus with 7 years of experience at a tech startup. Looking at global campaigns manager, Sr. Marketing manager or a director role. I've interviewed for a director role that comp was $120k, also a sr manager role where comp was $170k (they went on a hiring freeze). I was told asking for $135k was too low for my experience. I really don't know what to ask for.

Need to know the market situation for Scrum Master.. applied for the openings found in company career sites, got no response so far. Any ideas how to approach?

Are there any Global Mobility Specialist here? I’d love to learn more about this type of role and what training is needed to break in. I’ve had some experience helping some companies with the immigration side of things and it peaked my interest.

So I applied for a position & received feedback from the hiring manager stating that the position that I applied for was filled internally but they would like consider me for another position. So I interviewed and two days later, I was offered the position. Went through a background check & negotiated salary. It’s been almost 2 months and they stated that the delay is due to internal HR issues since the dept director did not create a new job requisition for the job they offered me. Thoughts?

Seeking advice for a friend. He called me this afternoon basically saying he was being put on a PIP, this is after the company had said a few times he was not learning the role fast enough, only executing duties at about a 20% accuracy week 1 of PIP, week 2 60%, now we are at week 3 back to 50% (UA role, has been there since June). Boss said significant improvement is needed by next Friday. Looking for tips, suggestions, should he already start looking elsewhere? He loves this new job.

The product was not ready to really hire and mentor someone with entry level experience, and due to that my role has been eliminated with my las day being May 6th. Hi everyone, I recently joined amex 7-8 months back as a risk analyst. It is a decent role but I don't see a future as a risk analyst. Need a suggestion badly for my friend. He absconded from X company after working 1 month but his UAN number was created by that time. Now after some break , when he got offer from Y company , they found this details from UAN verification while BGC and asking for clarification.
