I’m convinced that the reason some of these firms are so prestigious is because they have intentionally exclusionary recruitment practices. I used to believe that you had to already be rich to get hired at MBB. Now being on the other side of the recruitment process , I really do feel that it rings true. I hate the way we evaluate candidates and decide on who is “high priority” during coffee chats.

If I don't complete my work in TCS during notice period can manager do anything bad.

I'm not a bad person but they gave a completely new work once I resigned, since the last project got ramped down.

So instead of giving KT and I was getting KT during notice period.

The new project was time consuming and I also have interviews to attend and also to handle exit process.

Just starting to interview for in-house positions, looking to leave Big Law as a 6th year after bonus this year, but a little wary with the looming recession. If companies are hiring now knowing that is potentially on the horizon, you would think you’d be safe in 6-9 months when it hits. Any advice on how to broach the recession topic in an interview?

I went for 3 interviews with a company met with vp and was given package thinking I aced interview there was another candidate 😞 the other person for the job. The VP calls me to tell me I didn’t get position however he wants me to re apply in new year that something else will be open, and that he wanted to keep a copy of my resume what does this mean ? I’m in mid 30s(single) about to get started with egg freezing and haven’t even discussed with my mom back home. Seems like that don't appreciate diversity. 100 percent of upper management is white. The pay is laughable and it's a dead end job. Once you accept a position there you are stuck there until you leave the agency. They block transfers.
