I work at a new, small firm. We get 10 days of PTO. For family/medical leave, we get 20 days paid and then 20 days unpaid. But policy says we have to take our PTO concurrently with paid family/medical leave. That’s weird, right? It’s like you end up losing paid leave days. It makes sense to do it concurrently with unpaid leave but not paid leave, right?

I’m a 2nd year analyst in Tech M&A Investment Banking and she’s a 2nd year associate consultant in Tech Private Equity.
We have some ideas but aren’t technical so we’re looking for a potential technical co-founder to join up with and either create an idea and build something together or join up on existing idea in process!

I have an idea for a Docusign integration for realtors.
I’d charge a small subscription fee to existing Docusign customers for a plugin tool to make certain tasks easier.
I created a Docusign developer account and the ‘advocate’ from Docusign has been reaching out for a meeting to discuss my idea. I’m concerned Docusign would just take my simple idea and use their resources to build the same tool, and render my work product useless.
Any ideas/advice? Is this paranoid or reasonable concern?

Considering an exit to a startup that just completed a solid series B. They’re willing to provide competitive comp package and surprised how large the base is for a startup. Has me concerned about being on the high end and being the first person that comes to mind when it’s time to pinch a few pennies or clean up the books ahead of future rounds/IPO.
