How can we get onsite opportunities long/short term?? I'm into core development ( Full stack), I don't see much possibilities of getting onsite opportunities in my domain.

Can anyone guide me what should I concentrate on? Should i write any exam or so? Is there any group/consultancy which can facilitate to get onsite opportunity???

I’ve been on the bench with J1 for about 3 months. I was worried that because I couldn’t find another project, I would get laid off so I found J2, which pays more, is very meeting heavy, but I really like. I’ve kept J1 because I’m still on the bench doing absolutely nothing and getting paid. Thinking about looking for a role on a project with J1 that’s not along my career path but will allow for me to do work with no calls so that I can manage both jobs. Does anyone have experience or advice?

I like my job and career, but often find myself avoiding learning new tools or skills (not things I actively need for my job, but ex: new Figma tools that I have no real use for in my job that requires self-guided learning, etc). I'd rather spend my free time on passion projects away from my computer, but I'm worried I'll fall behind in my career if I continue coasting on just YOE. Advice?

I was let go from a big4 and I really enjoyed the idea of audit, working in teams, coaching staff, and doing campus recruiting. The hours and stress obviously were not great.

I couldn’t get an internship while in school. I have a BS in ME and projects from school under my belt. I’ve also passed the FE exam. HR called once last week for salary negotiation but hasn’t called back since.
