How do I transition from a Senior Executive Assistant role to Project Management? Ideally I would like to work in tech. How should I go about this? I currently work in the Real estate industry so it would be a totally new career path. The reason I want to move into tech is I feel like many of the companies I see have the same values as me (diversity & inclusion) and a good culture is so important to me.

I currently work in Atlanta for a healthcare management company that is local to the area. I just got into the healthcare industry and have my bachelors degree in health science. I work in a position in the revenue cycle and I am looking to possibly get a new job in a more established company. I want more stability and opportunity within a company. Would you recommend I take a project mgmt role at Meta under a 9 month contract for 60/hr or stay at a role that has potential with nearly no possibility of getting laid off? My fear is that the economy gets worse and I’m stuck after the 9 months.

Current comp is 40/hr. I could probably get a promotion around Dec 2022-April 2023 bringing my comp to around $100k salary (potentially more). I’m 24, 4 YOE, and this contract would be with Collabera with Meta as the client.

SOS. How do I know if I’m being paid fairly? I feel as though I’ve grown out out the “coordinator” role, but my company insists that I “prove myself” and add more responsibilities to my plate to show I am capable before I am promoted. But I feel like I already am doing more than a coordinator title, and my job title is just wrong. Is that fair?

7+ YOE - 3 in tech support role (after BE) and 4+ in BA & PM role (after MBA). Worked on RPA and process improvement projects for 2 yrs. Currently working on internal tool implementation projects - PMO, UAT, change strategy, etc.

Working on applications for academic positions (tenure-track), and finding it extremely difficult to write a research statement that is not too close to my current research that hiring faculty would think I lack originality, but also not too far-fetched/unrealistic or on topics that I find interesting but has insufficient knowledge/expertise.

Why Global Logic is not giving more than 11 LPA to 3.5 Years Experienced people ?

Whys everyone going to inhouse? Is it really that great?

Just got off of an interview for inhouse. Seems like you do everything every area of law imaginable and with little to no support staff. And no other associates. Just you and someone more senior. Seems like so much work and no billable but it would come out to 2100+

Just started at a new small agency. I feel so out of place. People literally sit to eat lunch at the other side of the table from me and are so standoffish. I uprooted my whole life left my best friends to work here and am now regretting it. I’m stuck in a year lease and have to stay here a year otherwise I have to pay back moving expenses. Has this happened to you? How did you make it work? I’m so miserable and know I need to move back to where I was before…
