Hi folks, how is the area around Heard Natural museum in McKinney for buying a house?
Is the commute from there to airport/ Fridays downtown doable?
Wife will work closeby so prioritizing her commute

If you take 75, you will hate every Friday. If you take 121 to the tollway, you’ll hate every other Friday.

smart

If you wait until 10am to go into your office you won’t care that much it’s fine

I feel like on Friday it seems worst 3-6. But it’s A) been a long time since I went in and B) I almost always stayed and did HH/dinner with folks til later anyway

So how long are we talking? 1 hour? More

What about airport commute on Monday mornings and back Thursday early evenings?

Flexible but ideally dfw

Living in McKinney for the last 20 years, a few trends emerge. 45 minutes to downtown when school is out. Can be an hour twenty in rush hours when school is in. I’m a bit west of the Heard, but the airport, either one, is 40 to 60 minutes or so depending on the time of day. I like McKinney, but you’ve got to be ready for suburban life.

I live in a suburb right now on border of mass and NH so very familiar with (and like) the suburban lifestyle
Other options we were looking at is west Plano but it feels so much congested coming from a north eastern suburb even though commute is better
