Hi Folks, is there a hiring freeze at senior levels, C3 & C4 levels, in TCS ?

So I have been offered a job at multinational company as a Data Engg. It was a part of the hiring event, and literally got selected with a VERY VERY SIMPLE technical assessment, and a 45 minute interview.

The pay should within my expectations, but I am unsure about the company and the team.

Just that the process was way too easy so quick. I do not even know the hiring manager.

Has someone been a part of this before? Any suggestions if I should go for it? What should I ask?

I work at a large, global software company, and am looking to make a move to a more collaborative environment with better culture. I’ve been offered a more senior position at a smaller North American company in the crypto space where I know I will learn a lot, but I’m worried it might hurt my overall career trajectory. Eventually I plan on moving internationally. When it comes to searching for a new position, does company size/reputation matter more than the experience you have at the company?

Did my decision round with BCG and came out feeling meh. The interviewers pushed me a lot (made me brainstorm on where to start until I found the right place) and didn’t really work with me through the case (just let me go on even if my I was a 0 off in my calculations).

Is this normal? The experience was vastly different from my R1.

I’m torn. My current role is great in that I have so much flexibility day to day. However, I’m not being compensated fairly per the market value & I work with one of those types that slips thru the cracks that plays the system.. Anyway, a few people left due to this person. There is also a high turnover as competing companies are paying a lot more.

A recruiter reached out to me regarding a position with awesome pay but schedule is like a set 9-5. For me, it would be a promotion..

Today he called and said that the hiring manager who took my interview forwarded me to another panel and there is one more round with different manager and only if I clear then there will be another final round with on-site manager

While I am in the office, I don’t always get the billable amount since I don’t have enough work. My last working day is October 10th in my current company. And i received offer from TCS on July for hyderabad location. In interview I will he having technical discussion and management and hr round.

So is it just hr round or they will take another interview on technical skills.

Out of topic. Regarding insurance claim

I missed adding parents in health insurance for this financial year. my father cancer surgery happened and I spend 15 lakh from savings and debt. Their is further spends in next financial year April and May for chemotherapy & radiation.

If I add parent in health insurance in April ( next financial cycle) . Will I get claim ?? Since it is existing disease. Please help me out if anyone knows

I have 2 months notice period, 35 days over but still my BGC status is "BGC Scheduled", I have already denied counter offer...still doesn't want to fall in a situation where I have left current organization and after joining TCS there is some issue with BGC. Need inputs on
1) How can we know our BGC Status before DOJ to be on safer side?
2) Does someone experienced BGC status change in iBegin portal before DOJ?

In TCS iBegin portal, my profile status is showing as 'BGC Scheduled'. It got changed to that status on 10th July.

How much time will it take for the BGC to complete. Will the status gets changed to 'BGC Completed' once the BGC is done ?

I have been hired for React Js role in TCS. I have 2 years of experience in total. What kind of projects can I expect here ? Can a React Js developer get projects having on-site opportunities ? Also please suggest me the road map to excel in coming years in TCS.
