Infosys is master in sending regret letters more than offer letters. Be aware of it
Every 100 offer letters Infosys process, only 5-6 are actually accepted by candidates.
I had a same experience with TCS. After clearing a round and waiting for hard one month i got a call from HR last week. He offered same as you 1.5 lakh lesser than offer in hand. He even told that if u want tell , we will process or drop here itself. Such an amazing call and response from the Recruiter.
Just to clarify my understanding, bcg is offering less than infosys. Right?
@infosys2 Even I interviewed for Infy and got selected. After your technical round, they send you an email to fill and send few documents along with aadhar and other documents. Author meant that as BGC.
Oh I thought BCG as Boston consulting group
Same, on the first read even I thought its BCG but then read it again
I had the same experience with infy couple of years ago. It was a face to face HR discussion and he offered me less than my current CTC with a straight face.
I was speechless for a second. Later I recomposed myself, said no thanks and left.
Not sure if they are stupid or they think we are stupid 😂
Lol 😂 that’s one way to reject an applicant.
Same happened to me as well. They had the audacity to offer lower than my current CTC. Then they said considering your current CTC we can extend the offer by X+ 2 lakhs.
Here's how the conversation went:
Me : No, CTC is less
HR : We can offer that much only.
Me : i think i will pass then
HR : Are you saying No
Me : Yes
HR : shall i disconnect the phone then ?
Me : Yes please. Ended the call myself
I went through similar situation. HR wanted to offer me ECtc less than my current CTC. One job consultancy had referred my profile for interview. Didn't expect this unprofessional behaviour from Infosys HR. Have decided not to apply for Infosys again
Witch are like that only
They usually get back same from employees 😜

Thats true...Infosys is bad..I have been working in Infosys last 6.5 yrs my cctc is 5.5lpa ..recently there was onsite too but they showed politics and choosed another guy who us recently joined. I hate to say i never got appreciated by my management which is true...like me so many are there but unable to open up...coz of scare.
Infosys DM for Barclays referral
Happened with me in 2018, I'm surprised that still people are facing the same problem. Honestly it's a 3rd class company.
I had similar experience with @addidas and @TCS
These companies HR just waste our times if they dont have budget they should now waste anyones time
Seems like TCS has done this with almost every 2nd candidate. What a loser tcs is
Wow, I was thinking it is only me who was not able to impress interviewer 🤣, But it seems yeha pe alag hi game chal raha hain. They offer me half of the offer in hand amount, Maine bola mujhe maaf karo!
Court case kardo unpe for mental torture.
Same with Accenture as well.. they ask to upload all the documents including PF statements even before clearing the HR round and finally say candidature on hold due to compensation!
They tend to do so to collect what compensation is being offered across the market. But definitely a sneaky and unconstructive way of interview process.
Same thing happened with me while interviewing with Infosys.. they offered me 5lakhs less than my offer in hand. I already told them that I have x package and I want x+2. And after two days i recieved a offer of x-5. I was surprised and literally laughing on the whole scenario. Immediately rejected the offer and didn't even tried to negotiate with them.
Same thing happened with me.
If they cannot give above current CTC, they shouldn't waste our time.
Same has happened with me twice.
#ignoreInfosys
Infosys capgemini and techm all are same so anyone who is giving before get clarity of ECTC and den proceed with interview
even TCS has done similar things to some of my friends. This ridiculous attitude of these service companies is what’s driving this huge wave of attrition.
Why you are interested in their offer ? Worst company I would say. There are a lot of better companies out there.
But even before the starting interview process does HR asked about Expected CTC ?. If it is within their budget then only they will forward right ?
This was expected, but inspite of knowing the expected salary they proceeded and later came up with the most least amount mentioning it to be their max budget
I mean what went wrong with them. Were they too shy to admit that expected is out of their budget so offered less amount than cctc so that candidate itself rejects their offer...
