About 3 months ago I moved to a new team within my company. The new role came with a higher pay structure and a senior title. My company is currently giving out performance and salary evaluations for next year, and although I had a great evaluation, I received no salary adjustment because I was just “promoted”. While I’m happy with my new team, I can’t get over the fact that I’m not receiving any sort of salary adjustment. It just feels like I’m getting ripped off. Thoughts?

I don’t work in big law, but some of my classmates,who are going into big law, are bragging about the low number of billable hours they are required to hit. I’m hearing 1,600-1,800 billable hours. Is this actually true? Are some firms paying Cravath and only requiring 1,600 for the year? I know it depends on the firm, but can anyone actually confirm this is their experience? Have completed my MBA from SPJIMR and just completed my PMP certification. I am wondering whether this role is suitable as per my experience or I have been short sold? Needed some more information regarding the role. Is it a beginner level role at EY?

My EY offer letter for Staff position mentions target variable as only 5%. Is this how much I will receive? What's the average payout? Can someone at Staff level tell me how much they've got in the past?

Hi Fishies, I got info about my LEAD category via teams call, and a week later the LEAD form was released by my counsellor. Via call I was told I would be getting a progression but there is no mention about it on the the form, there is only:

LEAD category: Differentiating
Conclusion on QRMTE: Met expectations

Is it normal? Shouldn't my progression be mentioned somewhere? My counsellor is out of office for some time and I am getting worried now.
