Hi Folks, Which company is better, 1. Western Union, 2. Globant or 3. PWC?

So as much as I embrace the tenets of socialism, I have to admit: I'm not a part of a union. I don't know of any programmer's union and I don't know where to start if I want to organize in my own company.

If anyone has any pointers, I'd love some guidance. Also guidance in convincing my coworkers to organize, which might be a hard sell because most of us are pretty happy with our working conditions and pay as far as I can tell.

Has anyone considered joining a private social club (e.g., Union Club, City Club)? If so why are the pros you’ve found and if you considered and decided against, why?

I work towards social justice for all school employees through my union. How can we work with our local school division to create a more equitable work environment (more quickly than legislation)?

I’ve been on my job 16 years and been in a very toxic work environment over 3 years now. I find that some unions make things hard just to do it. I am very burned out and tired of a toxic work environment. Is private sector a bit different? I've considered that!

I have a student who loses it whenever asked to do anything. He will kick and hit walls. He will shout and cuss at adults. He will lunge at me and others. He is allowed to do this by his SPED teacher. It is getting scary for me because he is so unpredictable. I ask for help but the department doesn’t want to do anything different. What can I do? I really love my job and there is so much potential for my future in the company. I don’t see myself working anywhere else in the near future. However, I feel somewhat underpaid and cannot continue to work with my current salary due to inflation and life circumstances. How to get your credit score higher? Mines been stagnant for a while. Pay off CC in full every month and only at 3-5% utilization on average. Reasons listed for “lower credit” were: I don’t have enough loans / large loans, and my oldest account is only 8 years. The age thing I get but I’ve never understood the loans criteria.
