Hi folks
I'm looking to have a dinner party on the occasion of my wife's birthday. Any good restaurants in Dallas area you would suggest (flexible with cusine; ~ 7-8 people)?

I’d recommend just hosting it at your home. Watch the Dinner Party episode from The Office. It should give you some good pointers.

I've been there, I found it crappy

Arby’s

Dragonfly, Nick and Sams, Toulouse, Mansion, Al Biernets, Trulucks

North Italia, HG Supply , Meso Maya, Uchi

Sixty Vines in Dallas / Plano, Toulouse in Legacy West

Whatever you choose, just make sure people know if you expect them to chip in for the bill. Just got burned this past weekend.

I currently working as project coordinator (on-site) for 3 months 10hrs everyday with package $75k, I want to move to remote or hybrid work but I only have 8 months of experience from my previous employer and I have completed my master's in construction management in 2021. Should I stay in my role a bit longer to gain experience or I am not able to find remote or hybrid matching my profile. Your advice and comments are much appreciated.

Hey guys… I’m a case worker in child safety and I’m someone who loves being outdoors/dies at a desk all day. I’m hoping to organise that at least once a week I can go to a cafe and catch up on all my case notes that need to go into the system.
So far the only reason I’ve been told no is that “if you do then everyone will want to and then no one will be in the office” … how can I convince them that I work better out of the office and get this freedom & mental break for myself?
