My spouse and I are applying for a new mortgage and my lender looked up our credit scores and suggested that the mortgage is done only for me and not include my spouse as my score was in the top bracket. She is earning as well and i wanted to understand the risk of taking mortgage only on me:
1 - will we end up having issues filing for taxes jointly and show deductions etc?
2 - will there be issues with joint ownership (title) if the mortgage does not include us both?
3 - any other risk/benefit

I work in-house on a media team for a B2B organization and I’m the only person on my team who deeply understands media. Two new hires who I had zero say around hiring have both asked me basic media questions (how programmatic works, media mix and how we work with vendors). Got an offer today...

Applied for a mechanical engineering position. Salary range was 65-75k a year. When asked about salary during the first interview, I replied 70k is my number. Later I found out that since it's a small company no health benefits would be provided, but 10 PTO days are included. Had I known about the lack of health benefits and 401k match I would have increased my bottom.

The offer today was for 70k but now I'm not sure if I should try to negotiate for another 2-3k?
