When will the nomination window for PA to A will start in this Quarter. I have missed getting promotion last cycle itself 😔. If any of you here know about this information please help.

Been at my job for 6 months and I got a 2% raise based on People Review cycle. Not sure if I should ask for more since I’ll be the only designer going forward.

Organised a salary discussion last week with my manager.

Was told there will be absolutely no raise at all, despite of inflation, work achievements etc, unless I apply for a higher paid position vacant role.

I work for a university, as recruiter. I think it’s time to leave 🙈 what do you think?

Made a comment about a specific city being good to raise kids in bc of accessibility to good schools/colleges, and SO freaked out because he thinks I’m trying to keep him in one spot (both of work in this city, my family is here and his is not). He thinks I’m trying to stay close to my family and isolate him from his, which is not my intention at all. Told me it was a big red flag and he hasn’t talked to me since. What should I do?

How do you all take care of things outside of work? The last thing I want to do after being hyper-organized at work is figuring out my budget or retirement plan or scrubbing the bathtub or figuring out what to buy at the grocery or planning a vacation. I feel so burnt out I can only just sleep on weekends and can’t bring myself to go out or even do basic self care. I feel bad putting this all on my husband and how would I even have the energy to raise kids??

My wife and I are considering a move from Oregon to Coastal Maine. It would be a promotion for me and she can continue working remotely. Anyone have experience doing a coast to coast move and have any advice? Specifically advice about trying to obtain housing in a city you don’t live in? We have moved longer distances before, but this is a whole other level.

I'm an engineer and I love building things but based on what I've seen about Gen Z, I think I'm going to raise my kids in a less modern style. No TV, no internet, at least until a certain age.

I got offer from CTS. But Hr is asking to provide form16 or pf statement for all my previous companies, else my background check will fail. Is it true?
I can provide these for my current company, but difficult to get for earlier ones, since it's been almost 10 yrs I have left them. I have written to hr of previous companies but no response yet.

Recently I cleared 2 technical rounds and had salary discussion with HR on 26th July.
When I enquired about offer letter last week, hr replied in mail that "Since your education under blacklist with cognizant, we are unable to process with your offer. Many of college alumni are already working with cognizant. Even mailed them what part of education is blacklisted but they are not replying.should I still expect offer letter from them?

Is 25% hike on current is a good deal to switch to CTS from HCL. Offer I got is 21.8 fixed + 70000 variable total CTC 22.5 LPA e.o.f 9.5yrs.
