Do base % increases get smaller as you progress through the ranks at big 4? Or does it stay about the same?
I don't like counting the chickens before my eggs hatch, but I do have to start thinking what happens if things do work out? I have been interviewing for a few companies and believe that I may see an offer in the next month or so.
Besides comparing base and bonus, what things should I be comparing? Both tangible and not?
Also, I have a cash balance pension plan; I know the companies I am talking with do not have that; has anyone here left a company voluntarily with that benefit?
Looking at non-technical PgM roles at Adobe Curious if anyone can share insights on salary/compensation ranges to expect.
What does it mean when you ask the salary range for a position during the screening interview with the recruiter, and the recruiter tells you the target base salary is $115k? Does that mean if I am offered the job the offer will be for $115k base?
Hey ladies, anyone here work in marketing (agency side), how much bonus can a senior analyst expect to receive at EOY and how much salary increase is expected?
Currently an engineer in MCOL area with 4 years experience (post graduating, not counting experience before/during college and large side gigs). I have a BS/MS/PhD in engineering and an MBA in business analytics. Currently making 100k as an engineer IV. As an engineer with a functional knowledge (but no former training) in IT and data analytics, what are the best avenues to get to 200k without changing fields and starting at an entry level position (or moving to a HCOL area)?
I’m hoping for some salary advice. I’ll be receiving an offer for a VP of DEI role at a large academic medical center in New England and it’s an inaugural role. What is an equitable salary for a VP of DEI position? 15 yrs experience, doctorate, and it’s the largest employer in the state. Thank you for any insight and support!
Any tips for helping to get operations work recognized? I’m officially in ops but cover programs, business, and catch-all organizational needs. In the last year we rebranded and scaled 500% (staff, program offerings, funding) and I was the sole employee covering organizational ops at 100% during that time. When I proposed a title and compensation review, I was told I didn’t achieve enough impact. Unfortunately skills in project management and operations are not weighed heavily in comp reviews.
Could you please help with the WLB and salary expectations for Sr Data engineer M3 role at Gurgaon location?

Has anyone recently gone back into banking? I am thinking about going back because of the increase in comp and opportunity to work at a top BB. I was a boutique ib analyst for 2 yrs and currently a LMM PE firm 1st year associate.
Partners, how does it work when a SM like myself supports MDs and their BD teams write killer proposals (I'm a SME in a specific tech) and we win major work (last 4 months alone, I've contributed to $20M in sales). Prior to me joining we lost a lot projects in this tech because we didn't have someone like me to contribute and sure the proposals were technically sound. Anyway, do I get a bonus? A raise? Nothing? I'm in Accenture.
Need your suggestions about salary.

Hey all, posting this because I can’t find any specific ranges (all are very wide) but I’m currently in the running for a Cybersecurity analyst role.
I know that cybersecurity is in high demand but I’m curious on what should I expect in terms of salary?
For background: recent grad with “concentration” (minor?) in cybersecurity.

Should I continue interview?
would you take an offer from a F200 company with ~30% base bump and a title promo, although the role is not exactly what you wanted or interested in? Bump is real nice but don’t want to take on a role and regret it down the road
I have had 8 internships, 3 at large agencies and I am now a year from when I graduated college. I was just informed there isn’t room for me (again) on a team. Am I un-hireable? Is there still hope?
Any advice on how to go about getting an entry level scrum master position? Everyon me keeps telling me to lie on my resume but I’m horrible at lying.🥺🥺🥺
I need some words of wisdom from this esteemed bowl. I have been an associate for almost 2 years in civil litigation with my bread and butter being family and marital law. I have the drive and desire to operate a solo practice with an emphasis on family law as that is my most comfortable area. I've been loved by all my clients and believe I have the charisma to attract new ones. It's not a matter of if I'll go solo but when. Any advice and/or potential pitfalls of going solo so soon?
Does anyone have experience in or know anyone in a director level role overseeing investment performance operations? Trying to get a gauge on base salary expectations.
Hi all, I am looking for some advise, I am looking to get out of recruiting. I have an MBA and got my scrum master certification. I am interested in non technical management positions. Since most of my experience has been recruiting, all I seem to get calls for are recruiting positions. I have applied to project manager position and tried to fix my resume to the job. Please help and thank you
All - I have a question. Lot of these smaller cryptos like XRP, SC, GNT etc. are bought using BTC or ETH. So basically, for you to be able to make money, not only these smaller cryptos have to go up but the corresponding crypto you used to buy them has to go up too for you to make profits. How do you circumvent that, if at all?
Has anyone ever had an incident on a citi bike bike that was broken and was injured? I have been on a few recently that sound so rickety and questionable and it made me wonder if they could actually be unsafe.

Anyone up for a stand up comedy show?
AWS-SAA question (newbie): I know AWS account is a root account & by default gives user access/permissions to all the AWS services. You need to have an aws account first to then create IAM users to define who they are, permission groups they’re in, and the level of access/permissions they have to a bucket/object for example. So....when the IAM users are added, do they receive a notification with the url to access the environment? Do they need an aws account as well? Confused on difference
I love work from home so much I’m never going back.
I’ve been supporting all the ‘good stuff,’ but it starts to hit my pocket.. I feel like there should’t have been any pandemic bail out / incentives, and there shouldn’t have been any support to Ukraine.. These career politicians, both republicans and democrats, should be paying out of their own pockets for the games they play on average tax payer’s dime
I got into UChicago Booth and MIT Sloan. Convince me to ditch Cambridge/Boston for Chicago.

Is the knowledge enough to switch to any company related to Data Science or need to get exposure on real time project?
I have to wait for sometime to get a Data Science project in my company(around 5 months) but my salary is low.
Is the knowledge gained from course is enough to switch?
During switching, is the ctc given based on relevant exp only OR total exp and yoe ? i.e. i have only 2+ yrs exp as data scientist (internal switch) and rest is in automation. so will the ctc be given considering me as with only 2+yoe as data scientist or will they consider my prev experience also? cctc 9lpa total yoe 8yrs
I am currently working as a Software Engineer in Data Science domain like ML, QlikSense etc. I have 1.25 yr overall experience and I am from Tier 1 clg but from non-IT branch. I am not much confident about my experience in this domain as startups want more at this much exp and learning is slow in current workrole. So I am thinking to take BITS Pilani Work integrated learning program in Data Science and be here in HSBC for 2 more yrs with limited growth. Will it be right to study or to change?
Looking for thoughts.
