Should I take a test waiver for Georgetown PT with a 600 score if I have a 3.8 GPA from an above average state school in Finance & Information Systems and will have 4 YOE when applying - 1Tech at a Bank, 1 Consulting, 2 Corp Strat at a smaller healthcare co (current). 600 was my first try so I still have time to get it up as well.

I'm looking for some insight into a hiring process I'm currently in.

I had a phone screen on 8/10, Zoom interview on 8/17, writing materials deadline on 8/22, in-person interview with leadership team on 8/31, and reference checks last week.

Now, I have a "short Zoom interview" with the VP tomorrow; the hiring manager just scheduled it today. What does this mean? Are they stuck between two candidates, is it a job offer, something else?

I interviewed for a Senior RA (life science) position in a mid-large sized company in Westchester county in NY. I am making a move from academia to industry with 4 years plus experience and several publications. But I do not have an idea as to how What salary range should I aim for? What factors should I take into consideration?

Got an offer from company A, more interested in another company, but last chat about 6weeks ago with CCO of company B said they weren’t hiring right away but they wanted to reach out to people so when hiring freeze ended they could hiring immediately. Is it okay to email them about offer from company A, and see if I can get a timeline on their hiring and gauge their interest? Do I contact the CCO or their recruiter? Best practices to go about this

Am I a back up for the firm?
I passed the first round of interview at a t2 firm in the Middle East but they put changing the time for final round interview. It has been more than two months and my final round slot still cannot be confirmed. They say that it is because of Christmas time and things. Is this normal? 
Am I just a backup for them? (like they would only let me interview if they need people desperately.)

Guys I just received a final round interview for Deloitte Strategy and business design role. It will be my third attempt at Deloitte. I really want to get it this time. I am currently working as a paralegal in a small/mid sized firm where compensation as far as salary is limited. Recently I have decided to leave and have started doing initial interviews with very large firms. When the question of compensation always comes up of course I want to say the highest number possible. Is this a turn off? I just got an offer from PwC, how many PTO days for a manager?

Hi, I need your advise… I see lots of jobs as a Manager and lots of people getting hired with great salaries not much skills, however when I apply in getting automatic rejected emails and interviews that go nowhere. I think I’m the interviews they think I am lying of all what I do and current responsibilities and high number of direct reports. Approved by doctor/HR to remain remote and it’s not going over well( we were told we would remain remote, which included giving up our desks, but are now being asked to come in two days). I need some advice. I joined a company about 9 months ago, the project I was hired for never kicked off and I had no work to do. They hired another girl 3 months after me, she sent me jobs to apply to every day for months so she would be the only BA on the team. In the last 4 months 4 out of 8 people left our team and the director only promoting family members or close friends.
