Had my performance review August 3rd. My boss could tell I was upset about a messily 5% raise after getting my degree etc. (recent post). He asked what range I’d like to be in, and I responded in a fashionable matter by comparing median salaries in the area. He said he would try and get me in that range. But has taken over a month to “think” about it. There shouldn’t really be much to think about? Either he wants me or he doesn’t, right? At this point I’m losing money and and motivation.

What do you consider too young or inexperienced to become a team lead/manager? My offer letter was released twice because of mismatch in experience by HR.
