Looking to pivot into healthcare consulting. I come from a MHA background with a two year Administrative Fellowship following it. Any experience breaking into one of the top consulting firms with this type of background?

Need some perspective. Have to pick between MBB entry-level and mid-level at T2 (OW,S&,Kearney, 6-12m to post-MBA level) Over the first 2 years, I’d make ~210k at MBB, versus ~320k at T2. In other words going to MBB will cost me ~110k in a 2-year horizon. I’d be at post-MBA level after that for both options. I’m interested in joining tech product mgmt (might need to do s&biz ops first to lateral). In the medium term. I also want to go to HBS/Stanford as a personal dream. What makes most sense?

Have I just had bad luck with the companies I've been at or is it like this everywhere? I've had 7 managers in my 4 years of experience, 3 in one year at my first position (which is why I left) and now 4 at the 2nd company in 3 years. There has been a mix of people leaving and people getting fired but the instability feels extreme.

What are some of the best exit opportunities for IG DCM outside of Treasury roles?

As a student in the final year with professional experience in accounting, i think about dropping into software sales. I got an offer for 68k€ annually (Big4 ususally 55k€ offers). Especially as a young person, i wonder if learning opportunities are good in software sales. What do you think?

Think of these as different roles and how many hours the job takes to be successful in it to make that amount in your W2. Working more will not make you more and working less gets your fired.

When will the older generations realize they’re losing this battle on remote work? People don’t stay 40 years at the same place anymore because it’s “safe”. People will just leave nowadays. And it’s exactly what people are doing. My company can’t hire ANYONE because we don’t offer a hybrid even. On the flip side, we’re losing people in masses at this point and can’t fill any of the roles because the owner (who works remotely) won’t allow it. But “no one wants to work”. Biggest lie of 2022.

How do you work 2 remote jobs? I’ve seen many posts about doing this and finding success. I am interviewing for a remote basic inside sales rep but also have an actual AE job where I’d be in office two days a week. What are some tips and tricks here? I’ve been a club performing rep for years at a SaaS company…but as an enterprise account exec… my average deal size is around $75k in annual recurring, quota of $1M. This is inline for my company but low when I speak with others for Enterprise rep openings. Any thoughts on recommendations for steps to bridge that gap?
