My heart is telling me PHR, my mother in law (an HRBP) is telling me to go with SHRM, as it’s more widely recognized, more established and a larger network in general. Toronto folks - I live in a condo for rent and my lease ends in Sep 2021. My landlord wants to sell the place now and is asking me to vacate the condo in 2 months. I going on my third year with my company. I really enjoy working here but feel under valued. As a female manager, I am left out of management meetings no reason why. Very boys club around here & and never get recognized. I started as a receptionist, moved to executive assistant now,operations manager for a little over a year. I started with being in charge of 3employees & now I am at 11.I was at $46k then got bumped up to $52k before hiring 8 new employees. Looking for advice on what to do/pay.

Is it appropriate to email a hiring manager for an update? I emailed HR on Monday. I had an interview two weeks ago (the third interview) for a position I really want. I haven’t heard anything and I keep checking the status and I’m not rejected yet. I thought about emailing the director who I initially interviewed with today since I haven’t heard from HR.

I have another MNC offer for 16 lpa with variable. I accepted offer for both companies at different timeline and I'm in np now. 5.5 YOE
