Hi guys , I joined a company 3 months back and was working in ui automation and getting to learn within the team with 5 other qa members, but now ive been put in api automation with me as the sole qa automation guy , and am allowed to take help from the only guy which handled the role previously, but I find the code and framework very difficult and complex,I am getting anxiety as I will have to work all this from now on, and seriously considering quitting and finding another job. What do i do?

Firstly you need to let the management know about the issues which your are facing and tell them to assign some SME until you get familiar with framework, take your time and great things takes time. Definitely management will respond positively. Don't be too anxious it may cause serious mental issues. Be transparent and you should be always open for a discussion. All the best

I have also been at the same place, let your management know that this is something complex and it will take time. If you want to excel you need complex challenges so that you'll be confident enough to handle whatever life throws at you. Currently I am also getting different kinds of challenging automation work in the team and I am struggling but that's what we are here for, keep at it and you will succeed

Advice needed!! Have 8+ years of compliance/legal/in house experience (not privacy law except HIPAA). I really want a Privacy Counsel role so I took and passed the CIPP/US and CIPM exams this past year. I’ve been offered an Associate Director job at PwC. Is this a good stepping stone to a Privacy Counsel role? How long should I expect to work at PwC before I could apply to Privacy Counsel roles??
