It all depends on who blinks first. One of my old managers had a similar fight with his boss where he decided not to serve the notice period and served a legal notice to the company citing mental harrasment at work. Initially the organization decided to fight but then considering the reputation of the organization, they backed off.
PS : The managers brother was a lawyer, so that helped.
Until sometime back I thought they can't do anything, but recently I saw a news the guy got sued for writing negative comments. Defamation case

Also unfortunately due to covid i got the experience letter via whatsapp not through official email or any thing. Will this or anything else can cause me a problem?
Make sure to have it on email from the HR that you have left and that you have completed all exit formalities.
If they don't send, then you reply on any email from HR id and say: I have done xyz and with this I consider all exit formalities completed as per your last communication on ddmmyyyy.
Xyz= your last exit task
Last communication= email with list of exit formalities
