Struggling. Took a role at my dream company and I’m so thrilled to be there. I did, however, take an available role to get in the door: a significant step down from my experience/expertise. Leadership acknowledge this and are strongly committed to catching me up with the complex product and industry (a full shift from my prior work). This group really makes me appreciate my situation. I am fully remote at a remote first employer who does not care where where I work as long as it doesn't affect my residency and pay in the territory I was hired. (ie working in Costa Rica and Mexico 6 months but need to be back in Canada ever so often to maintain citizenship status)
