Hey fishes need 11 likes help me out
One suggestion dnt quote as “ my owner” he is just a landlord of the property for which you are paying the amount to stay. By no means he is ur owner 😃. Look for a better apartment, also while looking for apmt , look for the landlord who stays abroad , usually they prefer long term contract. If you are lucky u will get. Try online noBroker kinda websites.
Thank you
Better search for new home and leave.. if you don't stay with family then vacate immediately and stay in pg till you find new house. If with family pay the rent as demanded and search out soon..
Same happened with me as well. All of a sudden , my landlord has increased my flat rent 60%. Don’t argue with them. They are demanding as per the situation. They would have included a clause that anyone of you would have to vacate on giving one month notice. Don’t go legal route. It’s waste of time. Pay the rent till you find new one. Don’t lose your mental peace by getting into legal tussles.
Don't go legal and all it will mess up your day and your mental health. Your owner isn't someone whom you see on a yearly basis. You have to interact with him if you have needs. The way see it your owner might be looking to accomodate your house with someone else and is using this rent increase as a excuse.
Just move away from these blood sucking ticks.
No. Better try taking suggestion from someone in legal field. If there's a rental agreement, it's usually mentioned that the contract is valid for 11 months, and written notice should be given with one month time should to search.
They're probably doing this to force you out of the house (coz they got someone who pays better rent or they need it for themselves), but atleast ask them for sometime to search for a different place, if the above don't work.
It's policy every year 5 % hike in rent
Or complaint madi
Probably he wants you to leave so he's ask for an unreasonable hike, better leave. Meanwhile you can stay in colives/nestaway or PGs. Would suggest to leave asap and find a better place
20k me to aaraam se mil jayega dusra Ghar .
Thank you all for your valuable advice 🌟🙌
Better find any suitable PG near Koramangala;)
Just find some other rental place peaceful. This time look for place owned by someone better. Even if you sue the landlord in the current place you'll lose mental peace.
Now there are a few factors at play here, how connected are you and how connected is the landlord. Filing a complaint from your side won't help much either way especially if he's got connections. If you are okay with spending time and money on legal proceedings then you can take that route that would easily give you 5-6 months of time (cases take time to get listed and judgment to be arrived at) meanwhile if you get a stay order, you can't be evicted legally.
I'm no legal professional, but have heard a few stories like this (mind you the judgement would most likely be in the landlord's favour), and then there would be issue of deposit and cost of legal proceedings.
So you have multiple options depending on your hate/affection for this person you can sort it out cordially or drag him into the hell hole of Indian Judicial system.
Don't leave until your Aggreement is ended with landlord...you are bound to pay rent amount specified in agreement. Not more than that, Stay and search of better option.
If your rent agreement on verge of renewal then Better to look another flats.
