Hey guys. I’m in the Merrill and I make around $55-$60k. I’m being offered a role at Citi Private Bank and the salary is $90k with bonus. I’m considering making the switch b/c the payouts at Merrill suck and I’m burnt out dialing for dollars. The Citi bank position also involves working an existing book of biz and I think I’ll like that better even though the upside in $ is limited. What would you do? Do you think I’ll regret leaving the fee based model?

MBB em level role vs. director level tech (non FAANG) exit? Coming from b4, roughly 10 yoe. I know it’s probably a personal preference thing but hoping to get opinions here. Tech role is $190k base plus a 30% target bonus. MBB role i got a verbal offer without a comp figure yet but my understanding is it’s around there, maybe 10-20% higher (or maybe much higher depending on bonus).

Didn’t fully expect to get the MBB offer honestly, but both beat my 180/198 b4 comp. Now i’m torn.

Let's say if I am quitting ey on 1st August. Will I still get the bonus which comes in August with my final settlement?

Need some advice/guidance. I’m currently with a F500 company, on a great team with decent benefits, A+ WLB, but my entire 8 yrs of recruiting has been retail/hourly roles, and recently have been wanting to expand my arsenal & get into tech/engineering. I currently make a comp of about 90k. Amazon recruiter reached out & they accepted my 150k comp expect & I’m now at the “on-site” interview portion. Recruiting is for engineering or IT roles. Is the Amazon WLB really that bad? It’s a big increase.

Does PWC notify to reject candidacy or is hiring process slow? I completed the final round of interviews 3 weeks ago. Followed up with the recruiter after 2 weeks and they mentioned the HM remains interested and they’ll make a decision soon but I have not heard back.

I’ve really struggled recently with motivation. While I’ve been working out weekly (because of my trainer), I really struggle with getting myself to start work when I’m supposed to along with other things I want to do (I.e. read for pleasure). I enjoy my job & love the people I work with, but I always find myself scrolling on my phone during & after work. Then at night, I tell myself I’m gonna have a productive day tomorrow but end up repeating the same things. Idk how to turn this around.
