Microsoft power platform is a good option. Once you grow you can use it as a base to run your whole business on Microsoft's business apps like dynamics 365, power automate etc.
Hope this helps.
Shopify, Wix, and Squarespace could be the easiest with their pre-designed templates and “drag-and-drop” interface.
There are also Sharetribe, Arcadier... - a bit more specialized for a marketplace but require some tech expertise to set up and use.
With these you can prove the use-case and show some good traction to help you raise capital. However in my experience, as you scale you will want to switch to a real web-development technology that makes your solution more versatile, customizable, and agile for further developments.
Good luck!
As a former PM and now full-time engineer, I wholeheartedly disagree with the notion that all these engineers and technical cofounders are needed.
What's needed is a market that actually wants this service and a fast, lean way to validate the idea. Anything else is considered waste.
I mean the leanest thing you could possibly do is design an interactive prototype and share it with a handful of people to see if they respond to the concept.
Do NOT waste money on engineering before you validate the product 💁🏽♂️
Yeah I agree, I’d rec making an interactive prototype in figma etc.
Hoping you prove me wrong but I really doubt you’ll be able to do this on a no-code platform. Maybe some kind of prototype for fundraising, but you’ll have to tear the whole thing down ASAP
I believe the issue will be scaling up. A simple view and book website might fly.
Bubble probably has a template
me too haha
airbnb has really “forgotten” the hosts and have left an opening
there are many no code solutions

I heard Memberstack is pretty dope ...
Haha (shameless plug 🤷🏽♂️)
Admittedly, I deal with managing all of our developer libraries and APIs, so I don't spend a lot of time on the no code side of things anymore.... but our no code community is wild too.
I don’t know much about this. But make sure you can take code out of the software. My concern would be that you can’t take code out of a website and they start charging you a lot of money. What does everyone else think about this?

DS1 of course it’s easier to hire someone to do the work. That is a non-argument. Hiring a free lancer to build a product with 0 users is a huge risk.
Quite frankly, a waste of money.
Too many flavors of airbnb is coming out. It is time to sell shovels than do the prospecting. Time to roll out shopify for airbnb, imho.
Check out this post from Jason Calacanis. It was eye-opening to me, and hope it helps you: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/jasoncalacanis_did-you-know-you-can-build-your-entire-mvp-ugcPost-6996152658705162240-aVoi?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop
Thank you everyone!!
Any existing business model or app, likely already has models, frameworks, or platforms you can use, to easily do the same thing.
There are lots of plugins and site builders to make alternatives to AirBnb. No coding required... For someone familiar with the given tools/platforms, you can usually be live in a day or two. Here's a bunch: https://motopress.com/blog/best-airbnb-wordpress-themes/
Keep in mind, a new venture based on an existing business, isn't what we'd consider a startup, because you can do what has already be done, far less expensively and likely effectively, since the startup already figured it out. Whenever you want to build a business like something, look for existing resources that make it easy ❤️
Easily done with WordPress. There are themes and plugins to make a version of Airbnb, last I recall (years ago)
As a startup, it's a mistake to try and build all that you have in mind, as you want it. Build a light, minimally viable, version and with that prove you can develop a competitive marketshare - before you invest in anything else.
Webflow for the front end and then Wized for functionality
WordPress with elementor?
LMAO
Not having a technical cofounder is a much bigger problem than not having a website. You should prioritize getting someone with the skills you need
Lmao. Sure, you can build a static site with a no-code platform. But if want a full OTA experience, yeah that’s not gonna happen. If Airbnb could do it with some WYSIWYG child’s toy, they wouldn’t have 1K+ engineers
An idea isn’t worth anything without the ability to execute on it
Softr with an Airtable database
There are thousands of techs who can do that for you. I would consider using Wordpress or Webflow environment.
But, since AirBnB is currently being sued by the parents of three Americans who died in a Mexico AirBnB, my advice would be to get a good law firm to write a iron clad contract so you dont wind up in court.
After that, Webflow would be the best environment.
