Dental question: I’ve been told I am genetically predisposed to plaque buildup in bottom teeth for some reason. I brush 2-3 times a day, floss 2-3x a day and water floss 2x a day, and I still need a dental clean almost every 3-4 months. Anyone else have this problem? I’m former PwC CMAAS. I left to industry and do not like it, and am strongly considering returning to public.

I think a return to public means I want to stay until partner.

As much as I liked CMAAS, I think Deloitte ARA has more room for growth given that the practice is newer (or at least it seems newer from my perspective.). CMAAS is a well oiled machine and it seems like they make few partners compared to other firms.

I have a lot of enterprise marketing experience, but making a jump to a startup and want to get up to speed as quickly as possible.

Any good recommended books on how to build a scalable product and team? I'm looking for recommendations for two areas: 1) in general laying the groundwork in a startup to have the tools and especially processes in place to scale, and 2) tactical focus on building a SaaS project. We don’t really have any users, but we’re not sure if we should first try to secure funding (without users) or build up the user base first then go for funding. How much value do VC’s place on users before funding and how many users would they like to see for preseed funding. Any feedback is appreciated.
