Hello everyone, I was wondering if the possibility of 100% remote (advertised in papers) is really happening in Deloitte UK. Trying to move from Deloitte PT to Deloitte UK and would like to know if that is a possibility! Thank you!
Hello Fishes, Does anyone know the grade hierarchy at Optum? My candidature is in process for Security Engineer Consultant role within Optum. Can anyone suggest which grade level does it belong and what is the salary bracket at this level?
Got reached out to by a recruiter at McMaster-Carr. Looks concerning from online reviews, but comp package appears to be amazing. Is the horrible culture just for management trainee program? I would not be going into that. How are other groups around the company? Also interested in hear total comp for folks with ~1 year experience if possible. Thanks!
I am a fully remote EA at KPMG feeling like I, and my team, are vastly underpaid despite having more responsibilities than traditional EA's. Salary was set for $60k but after yearly bonus this year went to $62k. Anyone else care to provide insight on other Big 4 fully remote EA salaries? KPMG EY PwC Deloitte
Had a call with the recruiter in Tuesday, and he said that the hiring manager will get back to me by Friday with comp info if he wants to move forward. Is it too soon if i follow up with the recruiter tomorrow noon? 🥲 i just wanna knowww
Can anyone advise salary on a Creative Lead role in London? It’s tech (in-house) and comes with RSUs, another number I have no idea about.
I don’t belong in my job. I didn’t mind it when I joined in January and was interacting but as we’ve been work from home longer, the less motivation I have. I don’t enjoy the work but I’ve gotten unlucky with my teams too, and can’t remember the last time my manager praised me without a critique. Maybe I’m just bad at my job. At this point I just am doing the bare minimum to not get fired. What do I do? Should I look for a job that I actually would enjoy doing or stick it out?
Hey Fishes, I am not salty at all. I have 3.4 YOE in Consulting SAP. CTC 14.3 LPA. Not eligible for mid year hike. What can be the reason? Joined after March 2021 or Salary matches market standard.
Have now worked entirely remote for over a year after having only worked in an office for a few months. It’s my normal and I’m far more productive and available from home than in an office. Anyone know of good companies or law firms that have embraced a permanent remote working model now?? If they’re remote but location dependent, I’m in the Chicago market.
I’m a pretty anxious person and I’ve realized that a remote work environment only makes me more so - not being able to read people’s tone well, email/ping responses being more delayed than they would be in a conversation, the awkwardness of virtual meetings, etc. I’m in therapy and will discuss this there but would love to hear some tips about how people manage work anxiety specifically in a remote consulting environment.
Do you think post-covid that companies will ever keep their tech employees in NYC? I’m a software engineer for a financial company and already am probably one of the last people to RTO if/when that happens. But now I’m thinking that this situation has proven that they don’t need to take on the costs of having SWEs in a HCOL city if all of us can WFH/work from a LCOL city with same results. Kinda bummed bc I’m a new hire and I never even got to move there... should I lower my expectations?
I got an offer of 26.5 lpa fixed from Capgemini. My yoe is 5 years and 4 months and tech stack is SAP SD functional consultant. How much can I expect as my in hand salary.
Interesting article on post New Year resignations..I feel like I know a LOT of people interviewing right now that will jump after 401k payouts, bonus payouts, vacation for holidays, etc https://www.inc.com/suzanne-lucas/if-you-think-great-resignation-is-bad-just-wait-until-january.html
Anyone quitting their job and looking for a permanent remote job now that offices office dates have been announced?

When should I give my notice? I’ll be starting my new job in mid January. Do people usually give more than a 2 weeks notice during holiday season? I’m a 2nd yr. I also have 10 days of PTO that I’ll lose Dec 31st if I don’t use it!
Hi all..any feedback on how logicmonitor is as a company..in terms of work culture, wlb and raise?
Got a situation here. Signed an offer from Deloitte (I counter offered, they approved it), and just told my PwC partner that I received an offer from a competitor. PwC offered me a thiccc retention bonus that is hard to reject. What would happen if I tell Deloitte that PwC offered me this and I choose to stay? Any implications since I signed my offer letter already?
I just got invited to interview for a role in SFO that I also did as a Summer intern at Google Europe. And it turns out I have a fair number of first and second degree connections (bcoz of this internship) to the Hiring manager. Should I talk to them?
First time expecting mom here. I have a very noob / stupid question. So I read that you're not supposed to let the baby sleep alone in his/her room when newborn. So then what is the point of the nursery?! Wouldn't it make more sense to have the crib/bassinet in the parents' bedroom, or have a bed for an adult in the nursery as well? Confused here.
Any Deloitte audit folks left this year to another B4? Trying to see if it’s worth switching firms for the $$$

Product Management - I am somewhat interested in trying to move into product management. I have led internal analytics product development at a prior firm, and have led clients through developing/improving “products” for their teams to use however I have not led “consumer facing” products and my experiences have not been as “formal” as many PM roles ask for. I work in healthcare and would want to stay there. I’m wondering if others have any thoughts on these transitions.
Considering benefits practice. Is deal work within benefits or general benefits compliance good for exit opps as a 3rd or 4th year?
How many points? Was watching TV when I found this friend on my bed at Hyatt Residence Club Sedona.
TFW it’s Tuesday, you’re drunk at the bar next to your strip mall hotel, and all you can do is watch hockey and order random crap on Amazon prime. My travel Day Thursday is going to be aaawesome
