Hi, I work in a Fortune 500 company as a markeing specialist. Joined the firm in the summer of 2020 after graduation. Today, my HR rep told me I will get 1.5% increase for the inflation and it is only 1/2 of what other people who had full year. I am not sure this is common in the corporate where they prorate your inflation raise. I got families to take care of and this 1% raise just does not feel good. My performance review was above average as well.

I’ve been prepping myself to ask for a raise. My annual review (I’ve been at the company just about a year) is happening by the end of March. Should I bring up my request now or should I ask at the review itself? Since I haven’t been at the company long, I have no idea if there’s buckets, or if they will give decent raises this year due to inflation. My request will mostly be based my workload being switched to a much heavier area 2 months after hire (almost 2x the work).

20 lakhs ctc is good compensation for 8 years experienced female candidate in tcs? Current ctc is 16.5 in cognizant. Yes I know it's not even a 30% hike but I heared tcs have some limit and they won't pay more than their budget level. Initially they said they can offer 23 ctc and 1 lakh joining bonus. Then it was rejected from corporate. I want work life balance in top priority. Is it good to join tcs or should I look for counter offer??

Need some advice. Work for AT&T corp Store Manager. Been in wireless industry for about 14 years. Base is about 60k and commission and incentives add to 35k extra. Single dad and have worries making less then 80-85k if I change companies. Don’t have degree but considered a top store managing about 20 people. Not getting the opp to progress past this level. I’m in a predicament. At my organization, pay-for-performance salary increases are based entirely off of a person’s annual review. The problem is that I report to the CEO and he never (and I mean NEVER) does annual reviews. This was not disclosed during the interview process. What should I do? Hence I joined the company but I was skeptical because it is product based food package manufacturing company. this is my 3 rd company.yoe -3.5 .net developer. I was not going to switch because my earlier work was nice. Current with this different industry i feel if I took right decision and will it be ok if I switch again or should I wait for some time.

i have an offer of X amount from jp morgan and x+ 3.5L from Mphasis, my joining is within a week, I asked counter offer from HR, she said we will look if there is any backup candidate to fill that position then we will not do counter and it will impact my DOJ also since offer approval process takes around 2 weeks. if they won't do counter in that case would they allow me to join on the same compensation or not since i would loose Mphasis as well till then. btw i want to join JPMC
