Please help me. I am very confused in choosing the company. I have offer from Gartner and Epam system. Both are offering same package. I'm looking for learning curve and long term. In EPAM Systems still not assigned to project but Gartner has recruited for a project. I heard there will be a lot of opportunities and learning in Epam but limited with Gartner. Kindly help me here.

I was put on PIP after someone from my firm complained I missed some meetings. In those missed meetings I had informed my client and the said resource was junior so it was a pretty harsh punishment imo. Missed out on promo.

I am project manager in clinical research industry (CRO). After earning PhD, I gave up my science dream to take a more stable job. After slowly climbing the ladders, I feel like I finally got a seat at the table. Half the days I like the hustle, but now I miss being creative. I want to take more brainstorming, decision making responsibilities but I don’t see that in the career path for PM. Career path usually goes like this- Sr PM, Director l, Sr Director, and so on. But all do same work.

Any PA firms offer part time jobs? I want to go back to grad school next year but I need a part time job. I’m currently at PwC (I’m aware of PwC’s FWA but I’m not interested in that).

Those of you who left for industry, what do you work towards in your role? I was reflecting on my time in public and there was always something, whether it was a new section in the file, getting more client contact, getting invited to a big golf outing, running the jobs, managing the jobs, etc. I worry that leaving would leave me bored and not motivated to hit any sort of goal. So as a 30ish yo with a government/PE/tech background and CIPM/CIPP… I’m finding privacy work is just much easier and interesting than other kinds, but still pays plenty well.

Is it too late/inadvisable to go to law school to specifically aim for privacy work?

Got an IBM offer. In the offer letter, there are 3 options, Accept, Decline or Query.
I have raised a query to change my joining date which they complied with. But now the offer letter does not have any of those 3 options but I have both the offer letter and the mail with new joining date.
Anything to worry?

I am with 3 yoe with 7.4 lpa and some of by friend in MNC/ top company with same yoe but package is 10lpa so if now I switched i can get 13-14lpa but that my friend if switched they will easily get 17-18lpa with same experience and skills . Only base salary matter.
Any have any comments on this or will I also get same package like them in counter ??
