Hi guys, I am due to start working at EY soon within audit.

I will be commuting to the office by train when in the Birmingham office. This will be from Leicester.

Usually if a commute is about 1.5 hours+, Mazars authorises hotels. Is there a similar policy at EY?

When not in the office I would prefer to drive to clients, not sure if me being in Leicester affects whether they will tell me to suck up an extended commute? Would a mileage claim be from the office to the client?

I do not have form16, form26AS and salary slips for a job I did in a startup in 2016-17 which KGS has asked for in background verification process. Although I have submitted experience letter, relieving letter and offer letter for the same I'm not sure what will happen next. Can they roll back the offer letter? Do all titles (Analyst, SA, Senior, Associate consultants etc) in all division (Audit, Tax, CH, etc) have same salary slab?
For example max salary for analyst in KGS is 5LPA

Why does it take so much time to approve exit for employees serving notice period. During this period the employees are pressurized and treated really bad. Is this very common in KPMG. Cause in the other big 4 or any other organisation this does not happen. KGSEmployees are afraid that they will not get the approval for the requested exit date. After all the employees should be treated fair enough even in the notice period. What can be done to serve notice in a better way, Talking behalf of all
