I am Offered 29.5fixed by PwC for SA (L2). Currently on 25fixed. Should I join ? In terms of WLB.! My current employer on fishbowl shows Deloitte but have left Deloitte a year back. Currently in a firm with good WLB but PWFH is a big win for me that PwC is offering.
Any guidance or fist hand experience sharing is highly appreciated.

Any chances of layoff in EY India
No I guess. They want more resources as they think people may resign due to EY split
.
PWC AC (acceleration centre) or SDC (service delivery center) is the Center of Excellence for PWC. They are the 'cost centres' for PWC. Similar cost centres also exist for the other Big 4s. EY Global Delivery Services, KPMG Global Services and Deloitte USI. From my experience, they generally do not interact with the Clients directly. Rather, they would pitch to the different country entities of the Big 4s. Example- EY GDS would pitch to EY UK to assign them work which they would do in a cost effective manner. EY GDS would bill EY UK for the work done, which would be ultimately billed by EY UK to the client.
For some cases the cost centres could be entity specific. Like for Deloitte USI (offices of the US), only Deloitte US would outsource their work to Deloitte USI. I don't think they are allowed to onboard other country entities of Deloitte.
Happy to be corrected if I missed something.
Just one doubt - If the offshore entities are ultimately being charged to the client how can they be cost centers? I might be wrong or missing something
