I joined EYgds recently it's been a month as fresher . I have been put into business consulting but i would like to be in technology consulting. Is it possible to move to technology consulting ? EY EY

I’m debating between a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) and Prosci. Or both? Any guidance? I’m currently getting a Change Management Cert from eCornell. So I’ll get a lot of credits for CCMP.

Transition to Consulting? Going to have 2-3 competing jobs offers that I need to make a decision by the end of the week on.

I am 3 years out of school with a Bch of ChemEng. I have found myself in the Clinical Trial Supply space as a Systems Analyst.

I can either stay in Big Pharma (probably for most $, suburbs) and expand past just Systems expertise or go into Life Science Consulting (get to work in NYC) and broaden my LS base.

If I don’t do consulting now will it hurt me in the future?

My manager casually threw out that she had an exec tell her it’s fine if she wants to close my division down next year. We are a niche team in a large company. I asked her to clarify as I am worried about my team (and me) she said we would be “well taken care of” as in receive severance…she was so casual about it and said she didn’t know what she would do - we’re performing well, but it’s a small market. What do I do? Warn my team? Look for jobs? I have been here for 20 years w/niche skills…

I'm a young software developer working with one of the FAANG but I keep hearing that fintech companies pay Software Developers more.

I don’t understand how, but it feels like big law partners don’t get that we are only in this for the money (and they are too). “Experience” only helps me if it translates to future value. And “future” value means something different than it did 30 years ago when most people wanted to make partner.

I'm currently working in real estate private equity as an acqusitions analyst in the multifamily sector. I'm on a path to become a Director of Acquisitions of a region (my firm is expanding quite bit). I wanted to know if anyone had insight on comp at this level? Is it more bonus heavy? Do Directors typically get carry? It varies so much in this market so any insight or personal examples would help a ton.

Anyone know/think bill rates will see an increase at the FY? Feels like basically every other firm is doing it with how hot the market is, wondering if we will too (and obviously see the person rewards from that increase).

I dont understand why EY GDS conducts “No show Interviews”.
I was scheduled for interview and nobody showed up. i tried contacting the HR team through mail and phone calls and nobody responded. and two days later they sent me an email saying the position is filled.
So disappointed

or
is it only sent if there are any irregularities found in ITR by Tax department?
