Additional Posts in Salary Negotiations
I was just offered a CUNY role. The title is Higher Education Assistant. According to Glassdoor, the average annual pay for that role is $83,418. However, I was offered $62,500. I requested for the minimum annual salary to be 75k. Does anyone have experience navigating the CUNY system and their pay?

I haven't but had a friend who worked there and mentioned that negotiation was difficult. It also sounds like receiving raises was a challenge during her tenure as well.
Thanks so much for the feedback. Any info from your friend regarding commission?
I've seen several posts about RH on here, and not many were exactly glowing. Doesn't answer your question, exactly. But something to consider.
That's not to say that they were really negative, however. I mostly remember others being pretty -blah- about RH.
Your base for RH would likely be 55-65. What city/market are you recruiting in? Making Commission are challenging for most and you won’t see it until usually after 2+ years. You have to “pay back” your salary/base before you’ll begin to commission. Other firms tend to have better pay scales. The training/brand recognition is top tier, though.
