If I get layoff on Friday (9/2), supposedly I start submission on Sunday (9/11) right? However we don’t get paid for a week so it would start (9/18)? How do they verify that you’re still unemployment? Can the verification be done online? Thank you, cheers!

FX & Treasury Sales Job at a bank in India

I work at an US bank in a middle office role in India but I’m not liking it much because it’s process oriented. Now I’m getting an offer from an Indian based bank for the Treasury and FX sales role but I’m so confused about the job security and targets. My questions are below:

1) Will I be asked to work for 12 hours?
2) Will I be given targets and if I don’t meet it, will I be fired or something?

I wish you could admit that you had suicidal thoughts to people without them trying to shove you in an institution. Sometimes you just need to talk about the thoughts to help them pass.

How much math/stats is needed to switch from Data Analyst to Data Scientist?

I am currently a Data Analyst who is proficient at Tableau, SQL, and Basic Python.

I did my undergrad 4 yrs ago, where I took Calculus 1-2 (integral Calculus), Intro Probability/Stats + Econometrics.

To be honest my knowledge of math and stats has faded, so was thinking of enrolling in community college to take Calc 1-4 (up to differential) + linear algebra and more Stats.

Any thoughts or guidance?
