Hello, I’m looking for someone to connect with at Meta/Instagram. I’ve lost access to my instagram account, reason being that I breached “community guidelines”. I have filled out the form to appeal the restriction but it’s been 10 days since I’ve heard back. Anyone have any advice on what I can do to get access to my account back? Thanks! Get your CFA, only way to do it
No. You’re going to need to study every night for months. Otherwise don’t try
You’re going to have to apply to the same roles as new grads
Do you have your series 7? Or?
If you can't find a referral here, I would try over on Linked in. I usually have good luck over there! Best of luck to you.
There's a lot of opportunities to get hired in JPMC.
Depends on what type of vertical you want to sit in, banking doesn't always mean you have to be so close to the front office where you'd have to get certified like a series 7.
In tech, there's a variety depending on your interest and what skills you bring plus how much you're willing to learn to close the gap. Variety includes a hybrid tech/functional pm, go quickly learn: scrum mastering (takes like less than 3 days to a week to learn; if you like ppl
- and even if you don't but you know to speak on behalf of devs as their support person), how to be a product owner, functional/tech business analysis, data analytics (always, ALWAYS a plus anywhere), etc. So much.
And no, it's not always having to start from the bottom/entry-level. Depends on how you spin it - although if you only have 3 yrs of experience since graduating university then yeah you'll probably definitely start closer to entry than mid-level.
One major word of advice I have to leave: look for a group that's in the "change the bank" side (money-maker), NEVER the "run the bank" side (low-mid level ops). Esp. If you're still young in your career. You'll learn some but:
1) you might get frustrated as hell trying to get out of the stupidity of the grind, particularly if it's in back offices, unless you prefer to retire from the bank and be there till you're ancient.
2) potentially hard to transfer around to more interesting roles unless you keep elevating yourself and skills which includes personal branding and networking.
The hardest part is generally getting INto the bank. Once you're in you might wonder "why" on so many things. Good luck!
